Tebow Beats Brady

Whenever Tom Brady and the Pats lose a game, we hear talk about his pending demise because he is 35 years old. There is no doubt that he is losing the race to time. However, he still plays at a level that few quarterbacks ever get to. Fans have been spoiled by his clutch play.

NFL players don't feel the same about Tom. In a poll by Sports Illustrated, 180 players were asked to name the most overrated players in the league. Brady ranked 9th.

The New York Jets have the two most overrated players with Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez ranking one and two respectively. That doesn't surprise anyone that follows the game. Brady certainly gets a great deal of national media attention and rightfully so. He has the championships and big games to back it up.

Tebow and Sanchez have nothing to show for it other than a 3-5 record at this point in the season. Tebow is a $2 million backup quarterback who the Jets plan to use at some point. Everyone is waiting for this to happen before they start playing meaningless games.
