Always A Champ

We heard a great deal of talk yesterday about the match between quarterbacks Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. Fans were treated to seeing two of the all-time bests. At their advanced NFL age, who knows how many more times we will see them both on the same field?

One player who was under the radar was 14 year veteran Champ Bailey, one of the greatest cornerbacks of this generation. It will be interesting to see what type of interest he generates when his time comes for Hall of Fame election.

He has been selected to the Pro Bowl on eleven occasions, including six as All-Pro. His failure to win a championship is the only blemish on a remarkable career.

Players such as Baily don't get the attention they deserve. He has played at the highest level at his position throughout his career. He has been a model of consistency and one of the all-time best.
