A Tough Sell Overseas

I support the NFL's plan to play games in London. The Pats are doing it for the second time in four years. Robert Kraft fully supports this endeavor, although he has ensured that his team is the visitor. That allows him to avoid losing a home game at Gillette and aggravating fans.

The NFL wants to get their brand into Europe and beyond. It might be a tough sell. American football has a small market over there. NFL Europe folded after a few seasons due to small crowds at stadiums.

Europe will always be rabid for soccer. That is their form of football. The NFL can try and sell their product, but the market is limited. I don't forsee any city ever having a franchise.
