A Battle That Won't Happen.

It's too bad that Terrell Owens is not with a team. He should be battling with Randy Moss over the number two spot for career receiving TD's. Moss had one last night and now stands in 2nd place with 154, one more than T.O. He has a long way to go to catch Jerry Rice who has 197. Moss is 35 years old and playing in a reduced role in the San Francisco 49er's offense. His spot at number two appears to be pretty secure. Larry Fitzgerald, with 76 career TD's, is the closet one to him.

Moss is now tied with T.O. for 4th place in total career TD's with 156. In front of them, they have LaDanlian Tomlinson (162), Emmit Smith (175) and Jerry Rice (208). I think Rice is safe for many years to come.

It doesn't look like T.O. will get another shot to add to his total. It would have been a great battle with Moss. T.O. spent some time with Seattle, but it didn't work out. At 37, it might have been his last chance.
