Sanchez On The Line

The New York Jets have lost three of their first four games and are fighting to save their season. QB Mark Sanchez is getting it from all sides with his inability to lead his team to victory. Tim Tebow is the 600 pound gorilla in the room with his sporadic play in last Monday night's loss to the Houston Texans only stirring things up more.

Now, we are hearing that owner Woody Johnson is meddling in the offense by suggesting that Tebow start over Sanchez. Coach Rex Ryan is waffling in his support over his starting quarterback. Last year, he said that Sanchez would start as long as he coaches the Jets. Now, he has changed it to saying that Sanchez will start this Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

This game could be a career changing one for Sanchez. He needs to perform well and lead the Jets to a victory. The Tebow sharks are circling the boat. With a loss, it will only be a matter of time before the switch is made. Rex Ryan knows that his future as a coach depends on having a wining season.

I don't think it really matters to him who is taking the snaps. He only wants to win. Otherwise, he will be a defensive coordinator for some other team next year.
