There appears to be a healthy marriage between the San Francisco 49er's and Randy Moss after he sat out the 2011 season. He has been saying all of the right things about his coach, offensive coordinator and his amount of playing time. His numbers are way down with only 9 receptions for 99 yards and one TD. He has been on the field for about a third of the offensive snaps.
At his advanced age of 35, he must realize that time is working against him. It never seems to end well for Moss and whatever team he plays for. He must be looking at Chad Johnson and Terrell Owens who are both without a team. Chad and T.O. have generated little interest from teams who desperately need receivers. Moss must realize that he is one step away from joining them.
It remains to be seen if Chad and T.O. ever step onto a field again. Meanwhile, Moss adds to his Hall of Fame resume.
