Rex's Newest Idea

The New York Jets have been quiet this week leading up to the game with the Pats. Even Coach Rex Ryan has toned it down, other than saying that his team would win. I would expect nothing less from Rex. The Jets are taking a page from the Pats by being quiet and not giving any bulletin board material.

Rex decided to try a different tack. He has complained to the league that the Pats are not allowing teams enough time for substitution when they are in their hurry-up offense. Teams have been called for too many men on the field because they were not able to get off in time. Whose fault is that? If the officials thought it was a problem, they should do something about it.

One analyst made a good point by saying the Pats could have complained that the crowd at Seattle was too loud for Tom Brady and the offense. Rex will try anything. I give him credit for coming up with this.
