Who Is The Greatest?

Randy Moss never said much to the media when he played for the Pats. He also kept a low profile while playing for the 49er's this season. Now that he is in his second Super Bowl at the age of 35, he decided to talk at Media Day for over one hour.

During that time, he proclaimed himself to be the greatest receiver of all-time. He recognized the three Super Bowls won by Jerry Rice and all of his career records, but Moss said that his style of play had a profound impact in the way teams play pass defense. He might have a point, but I often find discussions like this difficult to come to agree upon.

Rice has all of the records that matter, including career receptions, yards and TD's. The numbers put up by Moss reflect a Hall of Fame career. I think Moss will always be considered of the greatest. I don't know how anyone can be judged as the greatest, but Rice certainly makes an argument for himself.
