The NFL and HBO certainly got more than they expected with the Jets and Head Coach Rex Ryan making their debut on "Hard Knocks". The show has certainly generated a lot of controversy with the larger than life presence of Ryan and his swearing throughout the show.
Former Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy felt it was his place to criticize Ryan for his foul language. Ryan has taken exception to Dungy's comments. Dungy feels it's his role to be the moral compass of the NFL.
Dungy feels that Ryan is portraying the NFL in a bad light. If anything, the show is getting good ratings. I've never had HBO, but I'm debating whether to order it just to see T- Rex and his crazy comments.
