It was good to see former Center Jon Morris get elected to the Pats Hall of Fame by the Veterans Committee. He should have been there with the first inductees a few years ago.
The team announced that the committee will meet every five years to review candidates who have been retired for 25 years.
I applaud the team for taking this step, but I think they need to meet more than once every five years. Nobody wants to see a watered down Hall of Fame, but there are a number of former great players from the 60's and 70's who are worthy of election.
Unless more veteran candidates are elected, the Hall will be devoted to the players who made up the great teams of the Super Bowl run.
