They offered Julian Edelman a three year deal, but they wanted a response by 4pm today. Edeleman rejected the offer and is now on the market. Aquib Talib has no offers from any team.

Will both players be back in Foxborough next season or find more money with another team? Teams are throwing around big dollars. The numbers are off the charts, especially the guaranteed cash. Fans need to realize that it's only guaranteed if they are on the roster at the start of the new league year or by a certain date.

Some fans want the Pats to spend money recklessly like other teams. It gets to the point where it's easier to not listen to all this talk.
