Future of Edelman

Reports indicate that the Pats are talking with Julian Edelman about a contract. It's hard to determine what that really means. I'm sure they have established his value. That will set the bar for any financial negotiations.

I think the Pats want to retain him and the feeling is  mutual with Edelman. He is very suited for the offense run by Tom Brady.

He could get more money some place else. The market was dry for him last year, but I think he helped it now with his recent success during the 2013 season.

I will be surprised if he doesn't sign with the Pats.
