The University of Florida is looking foolish after Aaron Hernandez appeared in their 2014 football calendar. He is featured for the month of July with a game photo.

The school said that decisions were made a year in advance for the printing of the calendar. Hernandez had not ben arrested when the discussion took place to use his picture.

Their explanation sounds reasonable, although they must have known that this would come back at them.
