Sanders & Rice

 I like the new format for the Pro Bowl this year. It's hard to have a meaningful football game when it doesn't count in the standings. The main goal is to avoid any type of catastrophic injury.

Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice have done a great job assembling the mixed teams of AFC and NFC players. It will be interesting to see teammates on opposite sides of the field.

It's good that they play it a week before the Super Bowl rather than after. Both squads lose players who are playing next Sunday, but the rosters have been filled out. The television ratings are good and that is the most important thing.
