Class of 2012

The Boston Globe did a great analysis of the team's players. It looks like they might have two failures from the 2012 draft class unless something changes for next season.

Tavon Wilson and Jake Bequette could be longshots to make the roster next year after being drafted in the second and third round respectively. They might join the list of draft picks who never made it with the Pats in spite of when they were selected.

Coach Belichick always talks about earning playing time. Apparently, these two are way down on the list. Wilson only was on the field for 17 defensive snaps and Bequette for 14. They were inactive for most games in spite of being healthy. This does not bode well for their future in Foxborough.

Their best hope now is to get released and hook up with another team. It's not happening here.
