It probably does not come as a surprise that Tim Tebow was selected by TIME magazine as one of the most 100 influential people in the world.
That is a very lofty honor for a NFL player who has experienced limited playing success in the league. Tebow has certainly become a pop-culture icon. Even people who don't follow football have heard of him.
I am always skeptical of lists such as this one. What makes one person more worthy than someone else? I think this shows how special of a player Tebow is. I look forward to the circus that will be coming to New York
