The New Orleans Saints should have a better picture of the 2012 season by the end of this week. Coach Sean Payton and GM Mickey Loomis have appealed their suspensions to Commissioner Roger Gooddell.
They are basically appealing to the man who was judge and jury the first time around. Gooddell has the option of reducing Payton's season-long suspension as well as the eight game one for Loomis.
The initial punishment appeared to be very heavy. Gooddell was certainly sending a message to the league. His decision will have a huge impact on the Saints in 2012. Will Bill Parcells step in and take over this year? Will there be a reduction in the sentence?
This whole scenario will play out when they meet on Tuesday, with a decision expected by the end of the week. I think both guys might get a break with a slight reduction
