Pulling the Plug

The Indianapolis Colts are headed for a train wreck season with a record of 0-9. It's hard to imagine how they have fallen without Peyton Manning behind the offense.

NBC decided to pull the plug on the December 4th Sunday night game against the Pats. It has been pushed back to a 1PM start. The network is concerned about the potential drop in the television audience.

Who would have thought that this could happen to the Colts during the Manning era. The Colts are silent on whether Manning will return this season or in the future. They have become a great example of what happens to a team without a franchise quarterback.
