Another Transaction For Ross

You can get dizzy following the personnel transactions from the practice squad to the active roster on nay team. Players move back and forth so many times. Ross Ventrone just had his 15th personnel transaction since August 1st as he was re-signed to the practice squad with the Pats.

This guy seems to defy all odds of making the active roster after being with the practice squad last year as an unsigned free agent. He was released again on Nov 15th when they brought Marcus Cannon onto the active roster.

The NFL practice squad is a very interesting group of players who live on the edge of having their dream end at any moment. There are only so many roster spots.

Being on the practice squad exposes players to being signed by other teams. He has been "waived" six times according to reports. Why doesn't some other team claim him?

You don't see too many teams raiding another team's practice squad. It happens with the Pats, but not often. Coach Belichick doesn't do it that much.

Is it one of those wink and nod agreements where teams don't poach on each other?
