More Roster Talk

The Pats continue to tweak their roster. Several present and former players were on the transaction wire the last few days. Former 2nd round pick Chad Jackson was cut by the Broncos. Recently cut OL Ryan O'Callahan was picked up by Scott Pioli and the Chiefs.

After trading a 5th round pick for Greg Lewis, the Pats cut him on Monday. The Pats also traded another 5th round pick for Alex Smith who they cut. He has been picked up by the Eagles.

The team signed Isiah Stanback, a receiver cut by the Cowboys, to the practice squad. Stanback played QB at the University of Washington before being converted to a WR by Dallas.

Former LB Junior Seau has indicated that he is willing to play up to six games for the Pats if needed. Too bad he's 40 years old.
