While listening to Sports Hub Radio today, I heard some additional detail about the Richard Seymour trade. The Raiders were initially offered Vince Wilfork, but owner Al Davis wanted Seymour. Davis dealt directly with Coach Belichick who said he needed to check with owner Robert Kraft. The Pats were adamant on the 2011 first round draft pick.
I think Wilfork will either be slapped with the franchise tag or he will be traded. The team isn't going to follow the league trend and overpay for skilled players.
