Oakland Forever
It's very disappointing to hear that the NFL owners have approved the move of the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas. It's just another greedy move at the expense of fans. Owner Marc Davis knew that the city of Oakland would not pay for the construction of a new stadium.
From a financial point, it's not a bad fit for Vegas. They willingly committed $750 in taxpayer funding as a part of a stadium and convention center complex. Davis had the leverage. He lined up an additional $600 million in bank financing and will pay a $350 relocation fee.
It's a dark day in the era of the Silver and Black
