Can't Change the Outcome

It was a shocking loss to the Jets yesterday. Nobody expected that. Everyone thought the Pats could just show up and win by 40 points.

That is where everyone is wrong. There are no certainties in the NFL. If people were so sure on the outcome, they should have contacted a bookie and bet the house.

The Pats looked flat right from the start. Tom Brady threw an interception at the worst time. He was correct in saying that records like that don't really matter. His passing accuracy got them to a 14-2 record, but in the end, they lost their final game of the season.

I shall refrain today from listening to the dissection by the "experts" on talk radio. It won't change the outcome of the game. They will find fault where fault doesn't exist.

The Jets played and were coached better. There is no other way to say it. I'm looking forward to their matchup with the Steelers in the AFC Championship game.
