One Last Game For Blinn

Lost in all of the Tim Tebow talk is the story about a player trying to get one more game out of his career. LS David Blinn was signed by the Broncos yesterday to replace Lonnie Paxton who was ruled out for tonight's game because of a medical situation with his wife.

Blinn has been a free-agent this season after being released by the San Diego Chargers at the end of training camp. Blinn, who went undrafted in college, played 16 seasons with the Chargers. He is their all time leader in regular season games played with 256. He also has 12 playoffs games under his belt. Blinn had a 179 consecutive game streak broken during the first week of the 2010 season when he suffered a hamstring injury.

He knows there might not be a future after tonight. If tonight if the end of his NFL career, he is certainly doing it on a big stage.
