Peyton's Date

Peyton Manning and Broncos GM John Elway both said that the quarterback will take his time in deciding his playing future. A decision will be made by March 9th because his $19 million salary kicks in at that point.

I can't imagine the Broncos dedicating that much money to him. Both parties want to save face. Will Manning ask for his release or will the team cut him?

If he was planning to retire, I think he would have said it by now.
