The Revolving Door

The Heisman Trophy will be awarded tonight. I always thought it was overrated since it usually ends up going to a quarterback. It does not reflect potential success in the NFL.

QB Marcus Mariota of Oregon is the favorite to win. The junior signal caller might declare himself eligible for the NFL draft. The NY tabloids are already predicting that the Jets will go after him.

Is he a franchise quarterback? It seems like the Jets are ready to make another mistake if they select him.
