The Game Played On

The Pro Bowl selections were announced last night. Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Darrelle Revis, Stephen Gotskowski and Matthew Slater made it. Hopefully, they won't be able to play in it because of preparation for the Super Bowl.

The game has been a joke in recent years. I don't think they should play it because of potential injuries. The rules are altered for the game.

The Pro Bowl is an honor for players. Many have it as an incentive in their contract. Selection means bonus money. They should leave it at that, but the league makes money from the television and radio rights.

The NFL never says no to money.
