Ridley's Big Hit

Pats RB Steven Ridley recently spoke about the vicious, but legal hit, that Ravens LB Bernard Pollard gave him in the AFC Championship game. It was one of the biggest hits of the season and knocked him unconscious.

He claims to be recovered now, but is he? Ridley said the usual things that any player would have mentioned about it being part of football and that it was time for him to move on. He said it was the toughest hit of his career.

Will this one play come back to haunt him 20 years down the road? Losing consciousness is a very serious matter. His brain must have been bounced around in his head. This might be the one hit that causes him problems.
