Last Two Standing

Players get old in the NFL while they are still young. Peyton Manning and Charles Woodson are the only ones left from the 1998 draft. Manning, the number one overall pick,  has enjoyed a rebirth with the Denver Broncos. Woodson, the fourth overall, struggles to catch on with another team.

He has visited numerous teams including the Panthers, Raiders, Broncos and now the Giants. If he still wants to play, it will be for the veteran minimum. At the age of 36, teams look at him as "ancient". He has lost a step as a defensive back and that could be the ultimate cause of his demise.

I'm sure he will sign with some team. Whether he makes the final roster is another story. It certainly looks like Father Time is catching up to him.
