It was very unfortunate to see DL Mike Wright placed on Injured Reserve. He suffered a concussion in the opening game against Miami and had been inactive since. He missed the final ten games of last season because of a concussion.
With all of the attention being focused on the long term problems with head injuries, one can only wonder if Wright will ever make it back onto the field.
He has already had a very unlikely career after signing as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He made the team and eventually became a starter.
Wright is just one of many players who have their career effected by head injuries.
