Kevin Faulk has been activated from the PUP list. It has been a long ordeal recovering the last 13 months from knee surgery and missing almost the entire 2010 season. He faces heavy competition at running back, but sCoach Belichick will find a spot for him. Perhaps rookie RB Shane Vereen will come up with a mysterious injury and end up on Injured Reserve.
Faulk is aware knows that time is working against him. Anyone who starts his 13th NFL season knows that the clock is ticking on their career. As insurance, the Pats draft Vereen and Steven Ridley in this year's draft. Faulk and Danny Woodhead have a similar set of playing skills, but you can nver have enough of skill players at a position.
How will Faulk respond to his first hits and blocks? It remains to be seen, but if this is the end of his career, Faulk is fighting to the finish.
