With the adoption of a 17 game regular season this year, teams should see an expansion of their active rosters and practice squads. It's the only way to keep players healthy and safe.
It will also mean more jobs for fringe players. At the same time, it might encourage teams to go with younger ones at the expense of higher priced veterans.
