Ready To Backup

Free agent QB Cam Newton has indicated that he is willing to consider being a backup this year. Teams appear to be all set with their starting quarterback.

Many feel that the former MVP should just sit out the season and try again next year.

Teams have not beaten a path to his door. At this point in his career, he needs to find a team and stay relevant.
