Choosing Not To Show

The NFL and their broadcast partners are realizing that showing protests during the National Anthem is not good for the bottom line. Viewership is down from last year. The league will need to give back some ad revenue to sponsors. Nobody wants to see that.

Showing the National Anthem also interferes with the broadcast production of game because it takes up time that could be devoted to commercials.

The NFL is all about the money. People should not kid themselves. Like anything else, this will pass.
