Witten's Head

Last night, TE Jason Witten of the Dallas Cowboys had his 1,000th career reception. He became the 16th player to do this, but only the second TE.

He is never referred to as a future Hall of Famer. This is probably because he has never played in the NFC Championship game during his 13 year career. Winning titles makes a big difference when it comes to entry into Canton.

Witten's 999th reception resulted in a huge shot to his head. He went to the sidelines where he brushed off the training staff who wanted to examine him for a concussion.

He went back into the game and got his milestone catch. Did he suffer a concussion?
