Seau Family On Offense

The family of the late Junior Seau had opted out of the NFL concussion lawsuit settlement. They will pursue a wrongful death suit against the league.

I'm glad to see them take this action and hope their case gets to trial. The league will try to buy their silence with a large amount of money. They don't want the league exposed because it will make them look bad.

The family knows they have an advantage because Seau was a future Hall of Fame candidate. The league will try to blame him for his suicide. It will get ugly. We saw that with the great Mike Webster.
