Jerry & Johnny
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones should have fired his GM a long time ago, but he can't fire himself. He has been very involved with the team, often to the detriment.
They gave QB Tony Romo a $119 million contract extension, with $55 million guaranteed. It didn't matter that he has never done much in the post-season.
Now, we are hearing that he wanted to draft Johnny Manziel. Somehow, his staff was able to talk him out of it. That was probably one of his best decisions. Their two egos would never have survived in Dallas.
I don't think Manziel will become a star on the field, although he will sell a lot of shirts.
