49er's Take A Hit


Organized Team Activities are a very important part of the preparation for the upcoming season. The latest CBA has changed how they are conducted. They are now done without any pads and contact.

However, that doesn't stop players from getting injured.The San Francisco 49er's suffered a huge loss when WR Michael Crabtree went down with a torn right Achilles tendon. He was injured during seven-on-seven drills. The team is silent on whether he will return during 2013.

Crabtree was a critical part of the 49er's offense last season when he caught 85 passes for 1,105 yards. Unfortunately, he won't be the last player who suffers a devastating injury during the OTA's and training camp. It's part of the game
