There are many player transactions on NFL teams. Players get signed and released. It's a fact of life in the NFL where time can be short.
The Pats had an interesting player transaction this week. They released 2008 3rd round pick LB Shaun Crable in order to sign LB Pierre Woods who was released in the final cut of the 2010 training camp. Woods spent four years with the team after being signed as an undrafted free-agent in 2006.
Coach Belichick implied that ties are not cut with Crable forever. Anything could happen in the future.
I really wonder if Shaun Crable and Tyrone McKenzie are the future of this team. It's hard to believe.
