The End For Chad

I think most people thought that WR Chad Ochocinco would get released by the Pats. The timing was a big surprise. I thought that he would make it to training camp, but the team thought otherwise. They are stacked at the position. A few more will need to be cut.

Where does this leave Chad? He is a free-agent, but his tenure with the Pats and age are not in his favor. He could return to the team for the veteran minimum, but I don't think the team wants to go in that direction.

It will be interesting to see if he generates any interest from teams. Hopefully, he doesn't follow the path of former sidekick Terrell Owens.
