Andy & Bill

Pats fans have been completely spoiled during the tenure of Bill Belichick. As he enters his 13th season, he is the second longest in the league with the same team. Meanwhile, Andy Reid of the Eagles knows that he is on the hot seat, with only two years left on his contract.

We don't have that issue here. We live with the fear that Belichick won't coach here forever. He seems to serve at his own will. He seems to be totally safe here unless he had a health issue or does something really outrageous.

Reid has only brought his teams to the playoffs in nine of his thirteen seasons there. His teams have been to five NFC Championship games, including the eventual Super Bowl loss to the Pats in 2004. With no Lombardi Trophy and too many misses, the fans are certainly unhappy with the lackluster 8-8 record of last year. If the team doesn't win, there might be a reluctance to give him an extension or let him hang in the wind for 2013.

Meanwhile, Pats fans look for another great season with the ultimate coach.
