Brown Gets the Call

The Pats announced that former WR Troy Brown has been selected to the team's Hall of Fame. He beat out former coach Bill Parcells and safety Fred Marion. It was no doubt that Brown would be selected by the fans. He was always one of their favorites

For all that Parcells did to resurrect football in New England, I think he was bypassed because fans still remember how he defected to the New York Jets before the Super Bowl XXVI loss against the Green Bay Packers. There will always be fans who hold that against him

I voted for Fred Marion because some players from the 1980's will never get in because they played on lousy teams. The upcoming years will have players from the Belichick era. It will be tough for anyone else to get in because they select one player annually.
