The Bad Surface

The exhibition game scheduled after the Hall of Fame inductions was canceled because of concerns about the playing surface. The NFL looked very foolish after having the middle of the field painted with a logo that turned out to be hazardous to run on

What would happen if this was the regular season? Does the league have a plan in effect to deal with a situation like this? I'm surprised it never happened before. Maybe it did, but we never heard anything about it.
