The End For RG 3

The time has ended for Robert Griffin III in Washington. The Redskins were not about to pay him $16.1 million for the 2016 season. He didn't play one snap in 2015.

Everyone has written him off as a starting quarterback. They say his best chance is to sign as a back-up and work from there.

He had a brilliant start to his career after being the second selection in the 2012 draft. He won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, but was never the same player after tearing his ACL and MCL during the Redskins' playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

That injury cost him a ton of money and derailed his career.
