Wayne's Money

I think most fans thought that WR Reggie Wayne would make the final roster. Apparently, he asked Coach Belichick for his release which was granted. The coach issued a statement praising Wayne as an exceptional player.

We are now hearing rumors that he thought the practices were too difficult. That seems rather odd coming from such a great player.

No matter what, he will pocket his $450,000 bonus for 11 days of work. He stood to earn another $1 million for making the roster.

He must have really wanted out of here.
