Dreaded Roster Cuts

Teams must reduce their rosters to 53 by 4pm on next Tuesday and to 53 on Saturday. Many veterans will be given their walking papers. Some will get a chance with another team, but others will become "street players", hoping to get one more call.

The Pats will be like all of the other teams. Hard decisions will be made. Some will get their last chance during their team's third preseason game.

As Coach Belichick always says, the final 53 will not be the ones who finish the season.
