We always hear the expression "one lucky fan". It really happened for a Pats fan at the AFC Championship game against the Colts.

RB LeGarrette Blount scored on a 13 TD run and flipped the ball to the ground. WR Brandon LaFell picked it up and gave it to a fan in the stands. It was one of the 12 footballs from the Deflategate fiasco.

The fan ended up selling it at on auction site for $43,740.

Timing and fate made the difference for this fan.
