A City Will Lose
NFL owners are excited about the possibility of two teams returning to the Los Angeles area, the nation's second largest television market. They are concerned that a generation of fans have grown up without a team in their area.
One city's loss is the gain for another. St Louis, Oakland and San Diego might be without a team in the future. There is little hope for future expansion.
These three cities have struggled to get public support to build a new stadium. I don't believe in holding a city hostage over who should pay the cost. Publicly funded stadiums are a black hole that have no long term financial benefits. The fans are caught in the middle. It's all about the money.
