Players get hurt every game. RG Chris Snee of the New York Giants suffered his first career concussion last week in the team's loss against the Seattle Seahawks. He will miss this week's contest, ending his consecutive game playing streak at 101.
Coach Tom Coughlin probably had a little extra concern for Snee since he is his father-in-law. The coach said he is able to separate family from football.
I wonder what happens if the day ever comes where Snee is released by the club. That could be an awkward moment.
