What Did You Expect?

Several former players have filed a class-action lawsuit against the NFL over the handling of concussion related injuries.

The plaintiffs are lead by former Chicago Bears QB Jim MacMahon who said he played through five concussions. Years later, MacMahon says he suffers from confusion and often forgets why he entered a room.

The lawsuit accuses the league of failing to treat the players properly for concussions as well as covering up any link between the game and brain injuries. The league is accused of intentionally misconduct in its response to former player complaints of headaches, dizziness and dementia.

The league has denied all of the claims and said it will fight the lawsuit vigorously. How else did people think the league would respond? Naturally, they will deny everything because the league does a lousy job in taking care of the health problems of its former players.
